Welcome to all the busy parents doing their best while managing the daily grind.
Welcome to all the busy parents
Why Books?
Growing up Korean-American, I rarely saw my own reflection in the pages of the stories I read. Now, as a mother, I am committed to a different narrative for my son.
I’ve utilized the quiet hours of naptime and evening to curate a collection of works by creators of color—stories designed to foster a deep sense of belonging and identity.
For us, storytime is more than a routine; it is an opportunity to bond through playful conversations that don’t always arise organically.
Building the Collective
Parenthood is a fulfilling adventure, but it can be an isolating one without a local “village” to lean on.
I believe in the principle of “Let it begin with me”. True growth starts with a single, intentional step.
This space is my actionable step toward creating a digital collective—a place to share the knowledge and support I once went looking for myself, and hopefully also sharing the knowledge and experience of others.
Where to Find the Current Book Selections
Developing this platform has been a labor of love; I am teaching myself the nuances of design in real-time while carefully synchronizing the content strategy within the margins of my daily schedule.
That being said, please disregard the section below; this is my current vision of how I want to sort the books and need to clean up my current list before I can make it user-friendly.
In the meantime, please visit my Bookshop page to view and shop the current collection.
